Why can we offer you this price?
There are also lots of different organisations that offer you volunteer programs in Costa Rica, in different National Parks. If you book your trip with such an organisation you'll have to spend between 25$ and 40$ per day. With us it's an amount of approx. 15 $ per day. We can offer you this small price not because there's a lack of quality, or because our facilities are worse than in other parks - Cabo Blanco is actually one of the cleanest and best equipped national parks of Costa Rica. We can offer you this price because your booking will directly through the park rather than a costly organisation in between.
Of course, you'll have to organize a few things on your own, like the transfer to the park, but that is not tricky (speaking from our own experience). And we will of course be happy to help you where ever we can!
Who can do it?
Anyone aged 18 and older.
We don't require any knwoledge in the field - although obviously you have to be a nature-lover.
Preferably a basic knowledge of Spanish (and at least a good level of English if no Spanish)
Good levels of fitness as the work can be physically challenging especially in the heat.
And maybe most importantly, you need to be open minded towards different cultures and different life-styles.
